Mothers' Friendship Tea

All COMHS mothers are invited to attend our first Mother's Friendship Tea on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 9:00 am till Noon. This will take place at St. John Gualbert's in the Marian Room.
The purpose of this meeting is as follows:

A Prayer/Support Group for Homeschooling Mothers
A Prayer/Support Group for Homeschooling Mothers
This group is to provide an opportunity for Catholic homeschooling mothers to share faith and friendship. The main focus is to extend hospitality and support to new homeschooling mothers, and to rejuvenate, edify and strengthen veteran homeschooling mothers. This will give all of us an opportunity to develop new friendships and strengthen old ones. We will support each other in the joys and concerns of mothering and homeschooling, and we will also spend some time praying together as sisters in Christ.
St. John Gualbert has an 8:00 am Mass if anyone can sneak away that early.
We will gather at 9:00 am, have a roundtable discussion at about 9:30, prayer at 10:30 (a Rosary together with meditations for each Mystery), 11:00 tea/coffee/food and social. This is a very loose outline. This is meant to be a zero stress event. None of us have any extra time, especially on a Saturday when we probably try to clean our houses, but this time spent with other women who truly can understand what we are going through and what we are trying to accomplish is well worth the effort. This is also a great way to get to know each other and make lasting friendships.
Hot and cold drinks and paper products will be provided. We ask that you bring a treat/food item to share.
